Rebecca has a background in Developmental and Educational Psychology and has been passionate about helping children better process their own feelings since graduating from undergrad program at Syracuse University as well as her Master’s program at Teachers College of Columbia University. Throughout her education, she researched the importance of children identifying and labeling their emotions, appropriate emotion regulation techniques, and how parents, guardians, physicians and educators can best support this growth. This is Rebecca’s first of many children’s books that will help foster this development in young readers. When she is not writing, Rebecca spends most of her time hiking, traveling, watching soccer, volunteering, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and spending time with her friends.
Rebecca currently lives in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia with her loving fiancé and their crazy, yet cuddly, hound. If you want to know more about Rebecca and her upcoming projects, subscribe now!
